A Salute To Small Business Owners

This month, the B2B Automotive team would like to shine a spotlight on and salute all of you small business owners in the auto industry.

Small Business Saturday is set for Nov. 24 this year. It’s a day to celebrate and support small businesses, as well as what they do for their communities.
We’re always scouring for interesting reads and thought it might be interesting to share some facts about small businesses reported by the U.S. Small Business Administration:
1. More than half of all Americans own or work for a small business.
2. Two of every three new jobs in the U.S. are created by small businesses annually.
3. Small business owners wear a lot of hats, juggling many company functions on their own plates.
4. Hiring good talent is one of small business owners’ biggest challenges.
5. Women-owned businesses have had a 114 percent growth rate from 1997-2017.
Small businesses are a major force in the U.S. economy. There are reportedly more than 27 million small businesses in the country. These businesses are creating jobs, sparking innovation and providing opportunities for many, including minorities and women, to find financial success and independence.
